About Numa Verse.

Our name
Why Numa Verse?
Numa is our rendering of the Greek pneuma, Spirit and breath. The verse is the verse of Scripture, the text every part of our work starts from. Together they name what we safeguard: the Spirit in the verse. The dove in our emblem carries the same meaning.
Safeguarding the Spirit in the Text.
The text comes first
Every part of our work starts from what Scripture says, read in its original languages.Scholarship is the baseline
The standard starts from the commentaries and studies the Church already trusts, with every source cited.Every tradition, in its own words
Numa Verse is non-denominational. Where traditions differ, the standard records it and leaves the judgment to the reader.AI is a tool, not an authority
AI brings curated, reviewed content to people. It answers only from the standard and shows its sources.
